The old Portal Master then heard the news from Stealth Elf of a terrifying monster within the Stinky Swamp and sends her and Spyro there to investigate. The training ended when Spyro accidentally burned Trigger Happy and Drill Sergeant, and searing Master Eon's beard. Master Eon was training few of his Skylanders, Spyro, Jet-Vac, Trigger Happy, and Drill Sergeant, in a session against a Goliath Drow illusion. The old Portal Master and his Skylanders knew that Kaos' attack was just the beginning, but they celebrated their victory together as Gill Grunt began to sing. After the Skylanders escaped from the pyramid, Eon transported to the Skylanders' location when the fog surrounding the Forest of Fear cleared up enough for him to open a portal. Later on, Eon's teachings influenced Spyro to save Kaos from a fate the evil tyrant tried to bring upon the Skylanders in the collapsing Pyramid of Just Rewards. After discovering that Kaos was looking for the Chattering Key, an artifact used to unlock a tomb that contained an Arkeyan weapon, Eon allowed Spyro, Gill Grunt, Eruptor, and Boomer to go on a mission to stop Kaos from reaching the Key at the Forest of Fear.Īlthough absent, the old Portal Master appeared as an hallucination of Spyro's worst fear, being chained and shackled as Kaos mocked him. Using his portal, Eon foresaw the Market being wrecked by mysterious shapes that looked like sheep, and sent Spyro, Gill Grunt, and Eruptor to investigate the commotion. Over the years, Eon became the greatest among the Portal Masters. When he was eight years old, it was realized that Eon was no ordinary boy when he accidentally activated Nattybumpo's portal and teleported him into the middle of The Dirt Seas.
However, in his spirit form, he is still capable of projecting visions and holograms, and in Skylanders: Battlecast, is shown to still have the ability to temporarily power up Skylanders and create a powerful spell that attacks many enemies at once and restores health to his allies in equal amount.Īs a humble servant boy, Eon started his life polishing pans in the kitchen of the Portal Master, Nattybumpo. In the Mask of Power series, he can use his staff for a variety of spells, such as creating earthquakes when slammed on the ground or turning Kaos and Glumshanks into sheep.Īs a Portal Master, Eon can also use a time travel spell which he used to transport Eruptor, Grim Creeper, and Slam Bam back in time in Eruptor Meets the Nightmare King, return the Skylanders to their respective timeline, as well as using the spell to unfreeze Eruptor by aging the ice until it melted.
Though capable of casting various spells, many of Eon's abilities used to rely on the usage of portals and Skylanders he could summon from them. He has a crippling fear of falcons, but allows the Air Sensei Air Strike to keep his Zephyr Falcon, Birdie.
